Survey Highlights!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Did you know that <strong>15%<\/strong> people see Valentine\u2019s Day as more of a commercial  proposition than a day to truly express one\u2019s love?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Well, this  is one of the several other interesting and startling facts that surfaced through  the Valentine\u2019s Day survey conducted by SurveyCrest. A few weeks ago, we started an online survey to  determine what people actually felt about this romantic and heart-filled event.  And today, we reveal the results of our study.<\/p>\n<h2>Survey Demographics:<\/h2>\n<p>Using one  of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveycrest.com\/blog\/5-commonly-used-survey-templates\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>commonly  used survey templates<\/strong><\/a>,  we analyzed a population comprising of 46% males and 54% females. Out of these, 42% were \u2018Married\u2019 while the rest were  either \u2018Single\u2019, \u2018Dating\u2019 or \u2018Engaged\u2019.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Highlights of the Survey:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Almost half of the people surveyed (15%) find Valentine\u2019s Day  as more of a commercial proposition as opposed to a romantic one (52%).<\/li>\n<li>Majority of people (36%) treat Valentine\u2019s  Day like any other day. But 28%  believe in having a low-key evening together at home.<\/li>\n<li>Flowers  (22%) and Chocolates\/Candies (19%)  are the most preferred choice of gifts that people wish to receive this  Valentine\u2019s Day. Other popular choices include greeting cards (13%), jewelry  (11%) and dinner (13%).<\/li>\n<li>Almost half (46%) of the people surveyed don\u2019t want to  spend more than $100-$500 on Valentine\u2019s Day.
